Puberty Physiology

It has been said that severe obesity would delay menarche in female because of decreased Leptin formation. While Leptin is formed by fat cells. Bukankah obese person has high amount of fat cells or not(?) and and if it is yes how severe obesity could DELAY MENARCHE if supposedly high fat cells in an obese person produce high amount of Leptin?

aku rasa mybe dia nk ckp gini..
SEVERE obesity tu factor lain & leptin tu factor lain..
- sebab kan dia ada ckp yg heavily exercise can delayed ( so low fat content = low leptin )
- dlm case severe obesity tu dia mybe menyebabkan low sensitivity of leptin .. * tp ak xsure sngt, ( cube ko search balik sebab tenet umah ak slow
-so obesity can faster menarche but severe can delayed..

explain cikit ap yg ko faham dr suaidi..kot2 ak bleh blajar ap yg ak xtau

Leptin is produced by fat cells. In severe obesity, Leptin amount is decreased due to negative feedback because the body detects too much Leptin, thus decreasing it. So, even in severe obesity, the girl has menarche.
